1074 days ago Great fun at LG, long day, left at 4am and on the water by 12 launched from picnic area, first time using the isonic 80 and was the perfect size for the conditions,, lacking sailing fitness and getting stuck in the mud was energey sapping so called it quits at 3pm.

Headed down after work to find Simon rigging up. Tried for an hour and enjoyed it a lot but the angle was not quite right and the runs were short. The combo was working great and no gybes dropped however on looking at my sail i noticed a 10 inch tear on the boom panel. Some tape should get me some more sessions with this sail before i bin it. Anyway, i missed getting over the spit for some Port tack bearaways . Simon was super quick
Cheers

Plenty of wind, on 5.6m Loft, JP 70, Fangy 20cm. Was pretty maxed at times even though was smooth. Oh the weed hitting the surface is a massive area and a pain to sail though really slowing you down.
Launched from Cockies. Most people launched from 5 mile but the bear away as you leave from in between the 2 islands is unbelievablely flat with no weed smacking the surface. It's my not so secret speedspot:-)

1072 days ago Lake George, SA, AU. First time sailing LG in February. Stoked to be apart of it, and see so many amasing speed sailors. It is 4am now as I type this after 5hr drive back to Adelaide, so will be short. This session, I blew out my left wrist first run on KARace 6.3, Patrick 92 and MUF Delta 18. Reduced strength in left hand muscles. Changed down to Sailworks Hucker 4.2 wih the Patrick, and changed fin to MUF Delta 16. I was on that for a while, then put on Daishy's old JP 63l Speed board I brought off him for 300 dolla last month and put the 16 Delta in that. Hucker and this speedie is an amazing combo. It's like a fighter jet, that Hucker always puts a smile on my dial. I was very happy with the 37. That is what I was aiming for this trip. Special thanks Daishy for the coaching and hot water (ie "The full Bogan treatment"). You spoil me !
