Spotty (8858km):
1003 days ago LakeG'' PB on the WINDSURFER LT/One Design using a similar surface area fin (18cm ATOMIC NuclearWeed). Got out late and hoisted the stock 5.7 triangle mainsail bagged out to perfection for speed. Was a handfull going upwind, had a bit on spread eagle and hunkered down in the seat harness,
First run at 5mile n hooked a ok bit of pressure with a 32 peak which was nice as previous best was 25 on the bay at the Nats recently in similar strength wind. Kept chipping away and edged up speeds a little more as wind gut a bit patchy and backed off a little.
The sail was fine to hang onto off the wind and could rake it back so far that the boom end was dragging in the wake. Worked the Wally's stern with my feet trying to find best trim n hold it steady.
Went out again with Ka6.3 Race and the LT speed across n upwind was markedly improved bumping Alpha just over 20(new track seesion not posting) with it but no cigar on peaks as wind got patchy.
