Tropical Far North Paradise~ Green Island, QLD, AU  Took the early sesh sailing with Dr Cam (who's staying overnight in the lux suite)! Cool

Wind up & down- hovered between 10~20kn SSE for the most part.

Quickly realised it was a bit shallow for the Tribal 38 pointer after the first couple of runs over the reef flats.  So plugged in the Tribal 22 Delta as it seemed like the 1.2m low tide was coming earlier than expected.  Followed Dr Cam around (like a bad smell) for a few runs feeling a bit more accomplished considering there were gybes included.

Was a bit apprehensive about my gear selection in the kit bag today, but ended up being all good fun considering.  Even got some claps from the bikini girls on the beach for the last couple of parallel runs to the island.

Maybe more tomorrow! Smile

Used the Jag 108, Severne 7.8 OD M2, Tribal 38 MK2, then Tribal Delta 22

Green Island, QLD, AU Bit of a struggle today ...Wind all over /sailing fitness terrible /wind mostly 14-20 but after a Nanna Nap I wandered back to the speed run to be greeted by 32-37 knots with a 108 RRD 7.7 warp & TSW 33. It didnt go well ...!!! ( understatement).

Graph had the wind dying out as day progressed so small gear was locked away in the shed ...YellSurprised

Tried the 25 cms Tectonics Weed Delta today when the tide re treated (morning session )

Great in the shallows but lots of random letting go away from the shallows ....HMmmmm

Just noticed Benny Mc  won the day -well done Benny ..!!Laughing

And with that said, your job is done B2. There was some cracking gust's being recorded on BOM , then what looked like nothing at all for a period when the low tide kicked in. That would have been frustrating. But, the natural occurance of White Pointers in the shallow's would have been very interesting to see Wink
