Wow 3 weekends in a row of sailable conditions. Nice day at the lake with Pie Rat Neil and Andrew. Had a couple of runs across the lake aswell as plenty of interesting banter. Tried out a carbon fin. Had an incredibly slow dredge with Andrew to top of lake. Waited for 1 minute and lifted boom slightly in the hope it would get me back to base. Wind picked up, we got going then it cranked in super hard and thought this is going to be a way too full on run back. Fortunately it backed off a couple of knots and we just had one fully powered up run from the top corner all the way back to the lawn. More banter and nutrition then home for pizza. Rinse and repeat for next couple of days at the big lake. Always a joy to sail with Andrew - he is so relaxed as he powers across the lake, making it look so easy. He isnt too fussed about being the fastest - he just actually is the fastest - on every run.

Screenshots below are from wind meter on Boreen Point Jetty, shows how gusty it is on both lakes.
