Barcola, awesome conditions but what a pity that after 2 hours my MUF slalom carbon  broke and I had to swim for over an hour to get back to shore. Aniway the best session for this year

RS2, ACKpro 6,2 MUF slalom carbon 32

That sucks Roby. I guess it's a MUF slalom carbon "0" now ? Cry

A fellow rider once mentioned he used his life jacket as a skeg once (it allowed enough drag for the board to tack a course). Worth a try next time ?

I've tried with the impact vest like a skeg but in our spot the wind is completely offshore and it pushed me always out and I was yet about 1 km far from the beach.

Luckily here it is summer now. Cheers from Italy

I've never had a fin snap, so never been in the situation. 1 kay out to sea would be frightening. I've been in a jam like that in the ocean myself, but not 1km out. I'm glad you live to tell your grand kids Cool
