Green Island FNQ.

Stunning Spring day with 25-30 knots initially -later dropping to 18-24 .SSE  direction ,blue skies ,amazing colors ..!!

Started in really shallow water -bit over ankle deep ...Foot in mouth

Used FMX Invictus 88 Tribal Delta 18 RSR E 12 6.6  initially & got a 40.08 on the dial on the 5th run .

Tried the speed board but wind was dropping so no advantage today .

Switched fins then tried for a NM but wind had too many holes in it /tide had come in & water state deteriorated .

Toody & Bennie MC joined in the fun today .  Happy ..!!LaughingCool

Green Island, QLD, AU  Funday Sunday in Far North Tropical Paradise sailing with Dr Cam & Toody! Cool

Backing up from yesterday... Today's wind kicked up a notch as predicted.  Took the late ferry over again after a well needed sleep in.

Arrived to see Dr Cam already out on the water punching out some nice speed runs in some seriously shallow water! Tongue out  Took this as a sure signal to get my derriere into gear, so I quickly rigged up the Severne 6.2 R4 and chose to plug it into the ol' Isonic 90lt woody with Tribal Delta 17.  Didn't have much joy with that combo as the wind gods decided to drop a few knots pretty much as soon as I got going.

Changed to the ol' faithful XO Turbo 100lt + Tribal SW 31 with more confidence re water depth due to the incoming tide.  Had a crack at a few speed runs with this combo before heading over to the top paddock with the Tribal 36 MK1 for some more enjoyable sailing!

Dropped a few gybes today (feeling a tad fatigued) which was a bit annoying...  But with that being said it was just another awesome day over on the Island!  The water clarity/temp was absolutely sensational, there were pretty girls on the beach, and all visitors from near & far created a really nice vibe today!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!!!
