Keen as mustard to sail today with the favourable forecast. Thought i was sailing solo so i tried out the 33.5 BP slalom fin and found it to be great in the 87 with the board riding high over the chops. After half an hour sailing i was heading in on Port tack when i noticed a red sail leaving the beach. It was Trickster who had snuck down. He had a weedy in so i quickly came in and put the choco weedy in 'cause i did not want to get a flogging. The wind had picked up to 20+ and it was great fun. Well pleased

613 days ago Saw a late message to dashed down to Stansbury rigged the 7Loft RB Isonic 86 & 28 Leasscher weedie, first run out the water was nice, continued to the 2nd lease & it was chopping up! by the time I did a ubolt & headed back the tide & raced over the spit & the water was chopping up, just missed the good water
But supa stocked to get some TOW Great sail with Hoppy in 18-20Knts. The cloud cover seem to make the wind back off a bit so called it early as I have a busy week.

Great fun today, expected alot more wind but had so much fun.
PB on the big board 🙌The new fin I got is crazy good on the fatty board, with a 31.45 on the clock I was stoked.

613 days ago Thought I would make an appearance after 9 months . Boogie Lake. 6.3 RacingBlade, 107 Falcon, 33 Tribal Speedweed. Underdone. Wind under 20kts. The pocket was nice, but needed more juice to sail it. I can't believe how crowded Boggy is now. Packed full of cars, trailors, and an RV. Would have sailed longer, but Monday work day tomorrow.

613 days ago 1 categories Really fun day at Boggy. Lots of people everywhere was great to see. Didn't get as much sailing as wanted as was talking too much. Also broke a harness line but wow what a fun light wind day. Just enough east in the wind to make it flat for boggy everywhere 😀😀

Fun arvo sesh with a massive turnout. Slow start with a building breeze. Rigged the biggest i had with me and it worked superb - 1st time with 7.4 on 115 and it was very nice. Never fully lit for speed but very easy to continuosly plane and only stepped off the board 3 times in the whole sesh 5 hours. Great training and fitness for when i hopefully get to LG in the next few weeks for a distance day.
