Kel (36803km): Green Island, QLD, AU Another fun dat at the Island with Ben and Cam, Used, Isonic SS49 and Overdrive R8 6.2
dr cam (41674km): Great day on GI in 20-25 knots with the odd higher gust .Neapish tides so very good water state if you were prepared to sail with delta fins in low shin deep water . Used FMS racing 88 Tribal delta 20 RSR E 12 6.6 then switched to Jp 95 l slalom 29 tribal SW . Spent some time trying to dial in my alphas -getting there ... Was good to see Kel & Benny MCC fanging again ..!! Kel went straight to his speed board today -may have been a good call ...
Benny McCarthy (15191km): Green Island, QLD, AU Another Fun day's sailing had with Dr Cam & Capt'n Kel in Far North QLD Tropical Paradise! Super shallow to begin with so plugged the Tribal Delta 18 into the JP Slalom 88lt 60W to go with the ol' Severne 6.2 R4 OD. Tried a few runs with this combo alongside Dr Camakaze . Not the fastest but I definitely took top honours for a major wipeout at the tip of the Island half way through loading up for the speed run- was forced to make a slight adjustment to dodge a floating piece of wood and it was all she wrote in an instant when the fin let go. Really glad I had a helmet on (minus an ear piece now). Regrouped, although missed 40mins or so when the water/wind state was probably at it's best. Got back on the horse, plugged the Tribal 27 SW in (water depth better now) & headed over to the top paddock for 1 crack at a NM- turned out OK, actually PB I think- quite square to the wind, chuffed with that. Decided to call it quits & catch the early boat home while still in one piece. Kel & Dr Cam were both in fine form today!!! "Long May our Big Jibs Draw!"

Eddy (24292km): Port Douglas, QLD,Yeah happy hr Port Douglas..Was keen for a arvo blast as i haven't been out for awhile.Wasn't much breeze when i first got there so i rigged the biggest gear i had with me..No cam 7m on 105 Fox 40 cm fin..Only did one lap and then the wind gods 'turned violent' and sea got angary.7m sail went in to full lock down mode and it was game on in a very stiff breeze..Had a solid session with a good crew of sailors..My wing man Rick was going hard on his small Isonic and did a great job in a chopped up sea'..Mark Gust front' the new kid on the block came out for blast on some nice new gear and was sailing really well think he was the fastest one out there..Our good friend James came down from the hills and was looking good as he always does.. I saw him pull off some great jumps because thats what james does best..His burnt out 6m sail was looking a bit sad at the end off the session..Think it is on its way to the ' stair way to heaven'..It was good to see him out on the water..We have a new guy learning up here his name is Quantas he is very keen and he always puts in a great effort he worked hard today and he will be flying in no time. well done mate..As far as my session went, once again my trusty Fox saved my' sorry ass' as i had a bit to much sail up and was carrying to much fin..I am always too lazy to change any gear once i have hit the water, but i know i can still have a good fun session on Fox...The poor Fox did a good job and took real beating today and never put a foot wrong..I dropped 4 gybes today which annoyed me a bit but it was totaly due to me being to casual in a very choppy sea..Guess it was worth rigging up for..All good fun cheers Ed..
Gustfront (1903km): Was pretty strong and choppy. Board was hard to control and definitely had to take the foot off the accelerator many times to stay upright. Probably better suited to a bump/jump board today. Low Isles reporting ESE @ 24kts G 28kts
