Walkman (8395km):  1 categories  Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU Trial and error day for me. Hedged my bets to go out on 115 Exocet and 7 OD but really wasn't enough wind to get going properly aerlier on. Changed to Falcon 125 and was better but also got caught out as wind kicked in. Went back for Fox 105 whch was good but eventually 7m was more like a parachute and water very erratic. Gave up in disgust before something unpleasant would happen. | ||||||||||||||||||
Pete C (134786km):  6 categories      Lake Cootharaba, As per usual had to be patient when thers a strong NW inlaand, didnt swing around to NNE until 2.30 . Got on water at about 3pm, wind was still soft at about 12-17 kts, finally didnt come in until just before 4 before it was a solid 20-27 over on eastern side. Chop up to metre high in places made it hard to keep even the fox on the water. FOX 105 / 36 / NCX 7.0. | ||||||||||||||||||
