Bonnells Bay, NSW, AU. 4.7 Cheetah 1250 Flow. Went down to watch the raceseries. Great fun to watch the different racing gear/style. Decided to go out for a quick blast. Very surprised by the speeds again. Hats off to Andy for his epic voyage.

Bonnells Bay, NSW, AU NE 15 knots and the best slalom sprints I’ve had the pleasure to foil in. I found gibing in new water tough also sailing among so many combatants, I found a bit daunting and so a little too cautious on my part. I pulled the pin at lunchtime as the body said timeout. Good choice Byron let’s come back here again for another contest. Thanks Geoff and daughter in the start boat. Ss Levitator 150 , phantasm 926 , Maui 4.7

Round 2 of the NSW GPS/Slalom Fin, Wind/Wing Foil series. Great day for racing at Shingle Splitters Point. 10-15 knot E/N/E.

Great turnout of racers and a BIG thankyou to all that attended  , especially Jeff and Nellie  who were out on the boat. Thanks.

FFF175 ,  7m Switchblade , then 5.7 R8 overdrive in anticipation of the stronger wind that didn't eventuate , but did make for an easier time on the water.

Foil was the IQ 800, 115+ fuse, -0.5 shim.( Need to try the 95+ fuse next time) That's what they all told me anyway,Laughing

Closest I've been to an easy foiling sail. Must have got the setup nearly right.

12-19kts NE Peely Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU- level 0.32

A few of us rigged for the forecast 20kts rather than the 10-16kts that was there when we first went out.

It did pick up a bit but I only got one powered bearaway.

Working on the gybes. Got some feedback from Mike that helped and I followed him on one run and that's the one I got the 2 sec.

I usually just do my own thing but I think I need to ask tips and follow the good guys.

The level was up so we were going higher than the pole in some nice flat water although there was some thick weed underneath in parts. Hard to score a gust in the flat part . It was better in the chop.

I think that's a Pb distance for the year? Aiming for 23000 but at less than 20kms a session it's going to take a while.Undecided

Larko, Mike , Pete, Macca, Mick H , Greg F then later Greg K , Matt and a few others.
