Tone (3817km): Lake George 15-20kt S SSE First tried for first hour JP 50Pro with 20cmWeedweapon and 5m Koncept, "full control" then iSonic 80 with 25cm weedweapon, and still full control added weight 2-3 kgs.... much better than 13 jan with the 4m, early start and finish today
Sailquik (29582km): Lake George, SA. It looked like it was windier today, but I think it was just that the sun was out. Speed were two knots down on yesterday. But it was a very fun session blasting across Kevs Bay. Mostly just small chop with just a few patches of almost flat where I threw a few fun gybes. The water level will have to drop 30-40cm for the weed to reach the surface. It's still there, but well below. Hoping for lots of dry hot weather in the next few weeks. Started on the speed board but a couple of runs ehind the spit showed me that it was not happening with 34-35 knots peaks. Changed to the IS80- slalom board and went into the middle lake for a blast. Back for a couple of runs behind the spit to finish but still nothing much above 36 knots. Good to be getting the sailing muscles working again.
fordy007 (7898km): Elwood, VIC, AU Dyno 85L, Point-7 5.3m, 22kn, water rough but fun for gybing
Mr Love (6877km): Elwood, Swell chasing on the foil, very rough PPB.
Stingray 140, KA Kamikaze Wave 4.7, Zulu Freeride foil..960 and 790 sqcm front wings, 180 sqcm stab.
Spotty (8858km): WA Lilacs, put the Tribal Libero Freeride into Slalom mode from Wave mode, used the Atomic18.5 powerbox fin I use in the OneDesignLT. 7.7 KaRace Super smooth ride and super smooth turns for Alpas as well. Feels like it will be a bit of a rocket ship when it gets let loose in some more serious wind. |
