I went to Newcastle in the am and wasn't sure where I would be sailing so I had lots of boards in the van. I wasn't expecting it to get very strong so no 80 ltre..grr

 I used the smallest gear I had with me which turned out ok but was exhausting..I'm getting too old for this..

 No real flatwater 5-6" chop generally and I seemed to be really overwpowered going upwind but searching for a decent gust to go off the wind.

 Still a good workout and I finally got some good gybes!   Best on starboard tack. No decent alphas but good planing gybes.

I was a bit worried about trying as I was so powered up but they worked well. I'm now  back to gybing saying s..t,s..t s..t, all the way around until I'm safely back in the front strap on the exit.  Maybe that's the magic word.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU NE 12-15 knts and just right with my setup. arrived early to try and locate my phantasm foil ,fuse and stab that escaped from my mast after uphaulinh dont want to talk about...a case of best beer should any one yes and no need to mention  its oddly missing screws.
