sboardcrazy (24690km): 10-17kts E Coal Point, NSW, AU 7.2m moto - WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weedy then WT57 ( 90ltres) - 28cms WT weedy I went out too early as usual but it was still nice. I've had a stressful week and the sail was just what I needed. 2 runs towards Carey and changed to the smaller board.Another run and a fun bearaway back past the point. Rats.. the Garmin said 26.2kts. i was hoping to break 26kts . i haven't done that off Coal since I've got back into it. Few more jellies. Had to pull out of the bearaway as the rescue boat washing machine wake had 1m cross moguls and I didn't want to risk injury. I was going to go out again but I was tired and I wanted to stay in one piece to drive to LG. Brett on the wing and Lajos and I on fins.
Ant-man (13115km): Arcadia Vale, NSW, AU. 4.7 Panther 1500 Flow. Should have used the 1250 bfoil ut it was pretty light as I was rigging. Heaps of fun in Rathies bay and off Wangi sailing club. I'd forgotten how awesome Wangi bay can be. Just me, Scotty (fin) and a kiter.
MobZ (2188km): Wallis Lake, NSW, AU - jp slw, 8.5, 28ff Exploration mission to Gabe land. He is packing so couldn’t be there today. Seeing his tracks on ka72 I’ve been wanting to come and check out the spot. I think I was approaching the zone, but a bit scared to go further alone figuring it out. Slippery new booties came out of front foot strap at top speed. And my leg went dangling sideways. Some work on the big kit, hanging on hard. There wasn’t much, then there was lots. Gusty maybe. Not sure. The big boards turbo was definitely lit. I forgot to lengthen harness lines after last light wind session, Woops. That might have helped comfort factor.
Glenn Rumford (11029km): Jelly blubbers were back worse than ever. Unbelievable! Where have they been hiding for the past week? They were so bad they could actually drop you off the foil then almost stop all forward progress..... they were that thick. |
