Great day out with all the boys from Mallacoota. 5 of us travelling in stye on Dales Tourist Party Boat!
The wind was forcast to gust well over 30 Knots and it did at times, but the angle was very broad at the start and with the water so low we had to sail well out from the Spit where it was 'very' rough! That made for some quite exciting runs.
Just as we were required to pack up, the wind did swing the the best angle and was gusting 30-35. Dale and I tried to squeeze 'one last run' out of it, but to no avail. As we sailed back from that run we were able to sail staight back to the boat but we had not time for another run.
It was yet another great adventure. Lots of laughs with the boys!!! A great day on the water!
Thanks for the lend of the gear Craig and Martin.
My old 2008 IS87 with 18.5 Atomic Nuclear to start then (Kato's) CA40 with 14cm Tribal fin for the money run. 2021 5.2m KA Koncept Speed.
