 7.5m Turbo- 125ltre Tabou bullit - 38cms tectonics weedy

 I won't try that again.. It was supposed to come in about 12kts E  mid pm. I didn't think it would be that strong but as it's the best forecast all week I decided to go for a float.

That board doesn't point in those light winds. I went to the sand islands to turn around and then it was really bad. At one stage I was just balancing on the board going nowhere.. I managed to get near Grant st but it dropped out and went N so I had to swim the last 200m trying not to think too much about sharks in the murky water.

 5min walk back around to the van to get it and derig. It came in a bit as I was packing up but still only 5-8kts. Even the yachts were drifting.
