Arrived at buff point to find Greg , Matt d and byron having a bit of a go , very gusty and rain on the horizion , rigged the 6.3m and Patrik 79 litre speed board , as soon as i hit the water a squall came through but i was heading up wind to the flat water , Bryon and matt hit some really nice speeds as i worked up wind , had a big crash and hit the mud bank  now i have a sore neck but seems all right i guess .

Few more came out which was good to see , Nice for Maree to get out as well its been a while between speed sailing sessions , hopefull winter is kinder this year

Nice sail in the flat water but was last up there so missed the wind, even so sweet runs if not fast. Than rain came wind died twice and got too cold and muscles didn’t want to work so called it. After we packed and drove away the wind kicked in, also the heavy rain. 5:7/53/18sym

As you said Mark ‘speed sailing is never easy’ I bet it was ugly, I wasn’t even brave enough up here to get out of the car in that mess of weather. I may be happy to stay a fair weather sailor 😳 Good on everyone for having a crack. Hope your neck is ok.

Get well soon Mark. The lake is already 13cm higher so maybe a bit choppier but safer.

Thank you Mark Hampton for the wonderful post and to all the work that you do in the background.

We all look forward to the Facebook end of month results even tho its pretty much always Mark Jordan topping the lists everytime.

Mark and Maree definatly kept us up there with rankings from all their sailing.

I cant thank Mark Jordan enough for all his hard work with us all. Help, Mentorship, Motivation, Adventures, Supply of equipment, To Fixing our on site break downs & getting us all posting to GPSTC.

From 14 years old watching him sail I knew that was what I needed in my life and he gave me that opptuinity, Im very greateful.

Its been a pleasure sailing with him and everyone one over the years & wish we could all have another at least 20 years of it with him by our side, He's going to be so missed by us all.

Thank you Mark Jordan.
