Out with Chris on the first of the wind and last of the tide. 15-17 knts. SB Formula 155, 7.5 Ezzy Lion, 46cm Tribal.
Tides small, not a lot of sailing time with the big fin, but was a fun sail regardless.

234 days ago Port Douglas, QLD, AU..Quick arvo sail..Got down the beach for happy hr...Didn't know what the wind was gunna do 'again',so did what i usually do and rigged big. burnt out 7.8m on 120 Fox and big fin..Wind was up and down from 0 to20kts..Had a good fun blaast when the gusts came through. The sea was very choppy and there was a strong current running and some serious wind shifts.. Had to stay hard on the wind the whole time to avoid the walk of shame up the beach..Sailed with my 'best girl' Simmi, she had a good fun session on her baby 95lt Fox and was hard to catch when the wind was up..Wanted to get a few more kms in but the wind dropped out just on sundown so it was game over..guess it was worth rigging up for..Cheers Ed..
