Boombas, Point Grey WA

Nice session out with Tribal 53 + 6.1 Loft SpBlade & 29cm SPWD. Good to catch up with a few of the crew, Woody, Boz, Flex, Gloria, Waricle & Tim at the end. Thanks Woody for finding my long lost Uni Joint! It was puzzling me where I'd left it and very surprised it was still in the grasses at Boombas.

A very short fun session in some Boombas chop with great company. First run to Austin Bay saw the wind die out so I grovelled back. Didnt trust the wind to return today but in hinds sight I was wrong. The new tribal is powerful off the wind so fun times ahead once I rig it right. Markoz 56 Tribal 6.3 wsp 27

Point Grey, WA, AU.  Plan for today was get some fin cam footage of the cracked floating fin and warp fin in more extreme conditions.  Arrived and everyone saying wind had died off so almost rigged 6.3 but went with 5.7.  First out with the floating fin and still couldn't break it.   Was surprised it handled the chop just fine.  Came in and changed to the warp fin and the wind changed gears, was completely overpowered and too chicken to fully send it in the chep.  Went over to the cay in the hope of finding flater water but seemed pretty lumpy everywhere.  On the way back wind seemed to increase further and poo stanced my way back. Incredibly Gloria turned up, rigged and went out despite everyone else calling it.   Rigged 5.2 as Tim arrived and he was totally sending it.  Tim agreed to have a crack on my board with the warp fin so got the drone out to record that.  Got good footage from what I thought was 3 cameras of his run but when Tim got back to shore noticed Fin cam was gone and the leash line snapped.  Luckily I had a camera and drone plus a GPS record the demise so hopefully I can locate the point of loss and go find it in mild low tide conditions. Everyone had called it at this point so pulled the pin as well. Really happy both fins were rock solid and still survived. Tim also reported fin was better than a normal delta. Never seen the road so flooded on way back...must have been 20cm over the road.   iSonic86, KAR 5.7, FF22 floater and warp V2

A nice sesssion at Boombas, Choppy but lots if fun. Good Crew out, Pos keeping me company to Austin Bay, Woody, Waricle, and when we needed the wind to back off a smige he didn't deliverLaughing Gloria top effort for trying, Flex well he was the champ of the day coming in from Austin Bay in survival mode on the 5.7 and the Flex wonder fin. Tim pure machine who takes the Boombas line honour with some narly speed sailing in thr chop. Just a top day in interesting conditions. Oh and Herron Point give it 30knots WNW and 40s for sure, side off shore.

Some srtong bullets and high tide washing machine at first. Wind was swinging all over the place making some pretty nasty chop. It flattened out a bit when the tide and wind dropped, and thats when I got my fastest run. Good to get powered up on a 7m at times. Had a couple of runs with Istaac. Good fun~
