South Yunderup, WA, AU. Morphing fin testing day, at least initially as Dan said he might arrive and might be able to get some km in.  Arrived to a nice sunny cruisy breeze which was perfect so rigged 7m.    First out on warp V8 and went downwind of small island but sketchy water depth, turned around and wind dropped right out.   Inspected fin and mast had already broken at same place as V5.    Came in and rigged big gear for something to do.  That had the desired effect as went out and my arms were nearly ripped out of their sockets as wind picked up.  Back on the small gear and out on V6...worked well for a while but suddenly fin started spinning out, on ispection its mast had also broke at same position.  Came in to change to V7 which was the flakiest design.   This worked for sometime but again, its mast broke at same position so back in to change to the tried and tested V2.   Cruised around for a while, nice enough but some pretty hefty weed burgs that tugged hard so didn't want to push my luck sailing alone.  iSonic86, KAR7, FF22 Warp V2,6,7,8

nw wind again. went out a bit earlier then yesterday but still frustrating one minute then fully lit sending over the short chopp.

wind dropped completly so called it. but then 2 hours later wind blew it .... off (on/off) and the harbour was flat as a pancake

So, tomoz i am gonna gamble on mid arvo.

Windy when I got there- looked great! So rigged 7m 118 34mk3. Then it dropped. I didn't really get planing for about half an hour... then a few gusts here and there to get in the straps but nothing like being comfortably powered at all. An 8.7m would have been fun. After most of the guys had given up and it was getting darker I took some downhaul off the sail and put the 135 on with a 41MK3. There were a few gusts coming through too so that saved the session. Not really powered up but had some really nice long comfy runs across the river. Good fun!

Best sail for months with top blokes and lady. Use the 98FMX and 6.6 Evo mostly which was enjoyable doing decent runs for a change from stop start in the pond.  Thanks for the loan of GPS Rob too. Good to use without seeing the numbers for a change and just sailing.
