sboardcrazy (28295km):  Patchy 5 - 18kt - 20kts then 5-12kts patchy SW Valentine, NSW, AU Sailed 12.30 - 2.30 with breaks 5.7m gator - WT57 ( 90ltre) - 28cms WT weedy WT64 ( 112ltres) -32cm WT weedy Usual patchy crappy winter sail. Too much W in it. Should have gone out earlier but I believed the forecast which said it would swing S and strengthen later. Rigged the sail for the gusts , boards for the lulls and swapped between them. Mainly underpowered. 20kts feels fast to me now! Nice to get most of my gybes even if some were a bit dodgy. it's so much easier with a little sail although I prefer the twin cams in patchy light wind like today. I usually would have had the 6.5m - 7.2m/7.5m up...baby steps. Ranged from too hot and pouring water into my suit to icey cold as I had lunch. Of course it kicked in to a consistent 20-23kt SSw as I packed up..
