So, for a westerly it was alright. Never pleasant of course from 4-18 knots so, you can imagine the rest. My 8m freeride sail was just a bit stretched with my arms together. Still it was good fun out there with Barry.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU NW gusty 5-15 knots play time and 20 minutes at 1 knot to the club house. Tibor and Baz were ready to go when I arrived and so got the best of the conditions. W 125 G800 Naish 5.0

Mistral Devil, 6.0m Sailworks Retro, Axis 799

W-NW 5 - 18 knots.

Good breeze initially but died off within an hour.

Plenty of racing to avoid with the Youth titles held at Teralba so limited area to use.

First time out with the 6.0 Retro and it proved very manageable until I crashed. Cracked nose forced me to head back slowly.

Last time I followed Mick out and came back in before him in a NW breeze I had a catastrophic foil failure.

Short session but surprising speed with a small sail and foil.

Time to get the Red Sled up and running.
