Bit of an embarrasing 8km sail today... was pretty stuffed before I hit the water, and rigged to suit a very short session, so was only planning on doing a few runs down the bank. Great to see so many ppl out and sailing. Kites weren't too scary, I think we are starting to get a good understanding between us all. There are always the exceptions, but chatting to the kiters, there are kiters the kiters aoid hahaha.

Wellington Point, QLD, AU 7.0 Top day on the water. Thanks to Chris for showing me some speed run lines. We got some runs down the back half of the bank today which was tops. Had a bit of east in it. Was going to go for a 2nd hook run NM but catapulted out of the jive and broke the mast in 3 places. Crowd said it looked a good crash.

Another cracking NEaster, a little more east than usual which was cool, shame it dropped off again late. Top turn out good to see plenty on the water

Challenging conditions on the foil today. Big bumps, and 20+ kt wind against tide made for a big washing machine. I enjoyed it while I had form, but the inevitable uncontrolled dismounts take their toll.

Awesome NNW wind with almost everyone (including kiters) fully lit! But it was very lumpy and difficult to get flat water speed runs. Big guns Ben, Chriso and Rolz were out on the water for the team today. Had to ease up a little today as body is tired. 🥱 Water life was a bit interesting today. I scoured a turtle top, and narrowly missed a large whale like dark grey leviathan creature, and in the thumping waves, small fish were flying out of the water and landing in my lap. More Northerlies tomorrow. Very bad luck Ben on breaking your mast today. FF90 / 5.0m2 / 32 Wellington Point, QLD, AU

Well done John for persevering with such lumpy conditions. Those uncontrolled dismounts wear one out and shatter confidence. Beautiful squiggles there Jay. Congrats to the team heavy weights: Chriso, Rolz and Ben on you speedy runs today.
