Egg Island, Cape Cod. Fun session in 30 knots of wind. All alone at Egg Island so took the easy big freestyle board (Skate 110) with a 5.5 m freeride sail. Tide was good today, wind angle a bit square to speed runs were into rapidly increasing chop. Second fastest speed ever for the board, and a decent alpha for the conditions, happy with that. Nice preparation for the flatter waters of WA!
Numbers are from an ESP logger. Numbers from the Garmin watch are all very close, mostly about 0.1 knot lower. The newest ESP logger started acting up towards the end because some water had entered the GoPro housing. Looks like I caught it just in time, though, and should be able to fix it with a bit of cleaning and soldering.
