Tropical kinda day, moist air and warm water. Rainy. Strong and gusty as it came around the mountain, and much choppier than nor easter.
Not real nice, but worth a try.

Patchy  5- 15kts ENE building to a few 18kt gusts by the end. Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.3 m

6.5m Turbo- RS2 ( 90ltre) - 22cms Atomic

 I rigged for the forecast rather than what was there. Should have had the 7.2m up or the bigger board. That combo was ok in the gusts but it was pretty patchy and not really powered enough to bear off.

 Plenty of gybe practise. I got a few planing ones. My ex broken L hand is really hurting from throwing the rig around. I think I better do some strengthening exercises.

Mick and Pugs went out  first. I joined them halfway through then Mike and Bruce came out for the late shift. There was a few decent gusts by then but it was still patchy and I'd been out 2hrs so I called it quite.

 Pleasant sailing.

Always a challenge to control foil in the conditions.

Not many stayed out for long.

Found Flat water at Shipbuilders and the Lions Park for good downwind runs.

Plenty of waves to get between them as well.
