Great to try out the new board

Simmer 3XS 62 x 96lt

SV Mk4 6.2

Had fun with Tim and Karl. Tim clipped a rock and had to go in for repairs. Weird day. Water level was a good 300mm higher than previous visits with lots of fresh water making the board less floaty. NE that came and went but nice flat water when it kicked in. Unfortunatly it was a long walk in at the end through the weed when the wind died. Missjudged the fluky wind and once you are in......... the thighs were burning through the weed walk of shame

Wollumboula Lake, NSW,

Just not my day today, ripped the webbing out on front foot strap early in session and hit one of the only rocks in the lake, sail back up wind and walk in 30mins, with fin damage and board.

Re-rig an smaller sail and speed board as the pressure was going to build but it didn't still got a few runs in and a long walk home, sometimes

who have those days!!

Swansea, NSW, AU - 7m Sv Mach3, Isonic 127L/82W, 42 Drake Fin. Unreal spot for bump and jump and speed runs. I went in early around 2.30pm and wind was around 20kn on /off but mostly on and I decided to go out on big gear due to outgoing current. But wind came in hard around 3.30, I prob should’ve changed to a smaller board but just kept going. I’m happy with my alpha with that chunky board. Unfortunately I was optimistic and went downwind and down the channel and my fin box completely got destroyed on a shallow reef section. I’m ok but the board has seen better days. Heaps of wing dings out and 2 other blokes windsurfing further down the channel. Always good to suss out new spots, cheers Matt for recommendation. Will def head there again with wave gear I think.🤔
