Coal Point, NSW, AU 5.5 Hydra 1500 Flow Naish. Dodgy NEer that kept backing off and then on again. Probably about 8-12 knots. Had to leave early, hope it picked up.

Big forecast, big turnout,  disappointing NNE breeze.

Jimmy's beach, nsw. Buggered if i can go faster than strong wind. Measly 24kts in 25kts NE wind, hmpf.
It was a great, fantastic, super sweet sail though.
Getting the feel of smaller gear for a change, f-race 120ltr, 5.3, 35cm
Sail felt great in gybes.

I've applied a penalty and zero'd the distance and nauti as i jumped in the beach bus while still kitted up to drive misso and dog back to the caravan park and went back to join the dozen kiters for more.
Sailed about 46k.
Is that ok?

Sailing with that many kiters in tight zone got a bit hairy at times. I felt confident as i had to abort some runs and make fast evasive turns though, no collisions so that's good.

 5- 17kts then gusts to 20kts + NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU -level 0.33m

Very patchy. Heaps out.

 6.2m OD- RS4 ( 111ltres) - 21.5cm FF ( cutdown 24) 

 then RS2 ( 90ltre) with 22cm atomic

 I  usually find Toukley Willy weather pretty accurate and it was saying 19 - 22kts NE so I  rigged for that. Most people did.

When the Guinea pigs went out they were just floating around. 

Rather than rig bigger I put the big board on to make floating in the lulls easier planning to change to a smaller board if it came in. 

I set up the 80 but it was too patchy. 

Got a few nice planing gybes.

There was a 200m section of wavey glass but it was hard to score decent wind in there.

I don't think I dropped a gybe till 42kms. There were some decent gusts so I went in and got the 90ltres. I was knackered but wanted to try for 50kms.

Stuffed the 1st gybe due to tiredness. Stepped off and my forearm got smashed by the mast. Nice big bloody gash through the wettie. 

Next gybe I  flipped and got caught in the uphaul as I  tried to grab the boom. It seemed every run I'd hurt myself so I decided to just drop in and turn the board.
