Where's Leanne (860km):
Glenn Rumford (11459km): At last ..... a nice constant 8-10 knot SE. Unfortunately it was brief. No sphincter clenching today.
MobZ (3845km): Jimmy's beach, nsw. Waited till 4 for wind, very different after last few days sailing in the morning. A strom loomed and there was almost no wind. It cleared quickly, enough wind to go out so i did. Just enough to keep me going.
Byron Mcilveen (64786km): Mungo Brush, NSW, AU Duotone 7.8, F4 620 falcon foil What a place just unreal light wind but so much fun. Great drinks by the water watching the sun go down with every one afterwards just awesome.
GeoffS (8196km): Mungo Brush, NSW, AU JP HydroFoil155 Sailworks 7.1 Flow 900 Uninspirimg sail with the only real highlights Barry's crash and a meeting with a dolphin. There have been several unexplained crashes the last 2 days, maybe Mr D is the answer.
sboardcrazy (25351km): Patchy 10-20kts then 10-18kts Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - level 0.22 so shallower than normal Few runs 7.5m turbo- RS4 ( 11ltres) - 24cm FF then 7.2m moto I really felt like a sail at Coal but it was N when i had to make a decision and I was worried it wouldn't come in. Looks like I made the right call. 40 degrees at Warnervale. Bit cooler at 7th with a ENE blowing but at 1st it wasn't getting the lake. It looked 20kts plus but it was N and it was glassy in the flats.. I needed a guinea pig. ( or an anenometer ) I waited until there were obvious gusts in the flats. The big kit was tiring in the 20kts to the W but nothing much to the E. Changed to the smaller sail but of course it had died a bit by now. Not bad, but not enough to really bearaway. I got one powered run out into the 30cm rollers to the W for the 2 sec. Still a good workout and practise. Time for boardshorts . Alp and I hit what felt like a rock 3m SW of the marker starpost in the E. Fin survived.. Alp , Jayson?? and me |
