LG. +30kt, with the direction dithering in the range of SE. Much more stronger today. Same gear. Hucker 4.2, FSW 85, and the converted MUF 16 delta. Same upwind issue, but on non-optimal gear, it was pretty good (this gear is the contigency plan). Plus, there is no way I could have gone to the places without the 16cm fin. Would have been awesome on my speedie board and my Racing blade 5.2, if there was weed. Inside straps put pressure on the feet that you don't expect when maxed out O/P. Runs are too short anywhere else to notice it. I Went to say hello to Danny and cracked my PB for today while doing that Cool. Nice sailing for with the JB and Danny Cool. After about 2 hrs, JB abnd Danny bailed as it was going thermonuclear, so I decided it would be best to do the same. It's been a really good experience in Beachport. Really nice to catch up with the windsurfing locals. And Beachport people are always very friendly. So long Beachport. Next year I'll be back, when work allows it.

PS/ It was so windy today. Not sure if you can see it in the pic below, but the water receeded about 6m. When I was coming in, I forgot about that, and ended up stopping at the water line in the leg deep mud. I got a bit muddy. Then JB turned up and said I told you so ! LOL. But, I went out again and got a perfect landing with very little mud on me. Still, I miss Daishy's hot shower beside the lake.

Well done gentlemenSmile, the lake conditions look disapointing Jay. And what is the Daishy method of launching?

Daishy's method is: Mud is water Smile. I wish I put a camera on now and filmed my sailing (so people can see). But, you know how it is: Less gear, less confusion. Well done Jack.
