Patchy 5-15kts + E Belmont 16 fters

16th Wing

 5m Naish matador - 130ltre F One - 1800 / c 300 

 2 sec 7.7kts - 5 x 10 - 6.4kts - distance 4.10kms and I wasn't as exhausted

Still no cigar,  but I finally felt like I had some fun. I did longer runs trying to foil multiple times..

I'm not as worried about losing ground. Did 2 laps and then asked for some tips and out once more. I'd been bearing off and usual fall off the back or front.. I used more front foot pressure , tried to ease the wing as I got speed and tried to stand more upright..I finally managed to bear off at a bit of speed and not fall off. 

I thought I was foiling. I looked down and the  front of the board seemed a bit above the water but I wasn't foiling.

Anyway starting to get better at depowering the wing. Got a gust in the lee of the 16fters and lost the wing but managed to get it back and keep slogging so I was chuffed with that..

Hopefully I'll get a foil soon..

Coal Point, NSW, AU 4.7 Taka 1250 Flow. Not my favoutite session for ther summer, wind was all over the place, enough weed to be a bit annoying and it felt like the fresh water from all the rain was disrupting the foil. Still good to get out with Nicole and Jen. MIssed Andy not being out.

Jimmy's beach, nsw. SB Formula 160, 8.5, 60cm. Battling to get it over 10kts and onto the plane was fun enough. Got it there for a little squirt. First try of Liberty seat / waist hybrid harness. It felt good for slogging anyway.
