Jimmy's beach, nsw. That's my third encounter with Mr T this season, my brother still not hit one in 25 years. He's getting very worried. Every time on this kit.
The psychedelic nose protector did not cut through the murky water. Reports a few days ago during super storms that it was poo turning the water brown as the processing station lost power. But i inhaled some froth whilst surfing one day in the storm, and it was like ginger beer, not poo. Lake water, i think, still flooding out..
Anyway, there he was, in full view on the surface, he dove and i jumped. Collision was imminent. I came out ok and i think he did too. No damage to fin as it hit down near the tip and rotated back very far in box to make nearly 45' in screws. Damage on trailing edge where it got squished in box. I'm scared to look in the box and see how it is.

The kit was feeling so good. First time in liberty harness on this board, felt lovely.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Wind N-NW-W 5-15 knots.

FFF200, Neil Pryde 6.4m Slalom Mk6, Axis 1099.

First run for a sail I picked up a few weeks ago to replace the old 6.4m Sailworks held together with Gorilla Grip tape.

Good gust response and plenty of power from the 3 cam sail.

Not as many tacks today and longer runs than I have been doing since Christmas.

Wind was affected by storm building to the SW. Stayed out as long as I dared.

Packed up and then watched the front rip through with Bryce.

Pleased with how everything went and looking forward to consistent breeze to rack up a few km's.

Great to see Ian back on the water and have a good trip to LG.
