Yes its deep enough,No you dont have to walk 3 km to get some depth,Yes its long Runs,No its doesnt hurt too much if you hit the bottom. So in the interest of my body I wanted to test the theory that Foiling was possible and fun in the big lake. YES YES and YES.

Very light wind day. Even though I knew that the wind was deceprively stonger on the Cockys Pt side, I ignored myself and rigged too small! 
I was able to plane back an forth most of the time but was severly underpowderd on the 6.3m. Note to self......
It's amazing that there is still a nice area of flat water when there is absolutely no weed to be found! It's just that the water is very shallow May 20-25cm, and then very, very watery mud for 30cm or so, which to the fin, feels like water, so no drag!
