Hot at Beachport today until the SS/E pushed in late afternoon. Isonic 117 , Switchblade 7.8 , 23 Tectonics.

Just Sue , Tone and I out today in a light 10-14ish knots that blew just long enough to give us an hour or so on the water.

Gybe practise in the glass. A bit of a pain getting off the shore but great once out.

 Acres of glass with just Tone and an Ian for company.

 Cripes the big sail was heavy. It felt lighter as the wind came in.

Very happy with the gybes but I can't turn them into decent alphas. I need someone to show me.

 I either go too wide or think I'm on a reach but then realise I'm off tthe wind too mucch and can't make the 50m on the exit.

Did a few bearaways at the end. Last run in was fun. Bearaway , gybe , bearaway...

 I had the Go pro on but I can't do any editing till I get home.

It was just getting good at the end but everyone was packing up so I figured I better come in.
