Lake George, SA, AU. Light-ish west wind. Fitzy the great motivator could be a salesman. I was considering having a rest day, although i hardly need it, possibly still traumatised by the gust i witnessed yesterday arv in nor wester.Surprised
He came in for a bite, and sold it to me no worries. Out i went on Patrik 120, LB 5.6, 23 pepe and feel good i did go out.
Earlier it was good watching and him out there alone, no one else came out today.

Hopefully next week bigger sails and board come into action.

JP HydroFoil 155 Flow 900 Gaastra 6

More gusty than yesterday but a smaller sail meant more speed.

Shoreline at the club looks much better now. Thanks to all that helped and the one brought the bulldozer.Laughing

Another nice day with the usual suspects and some wingers.

Jimmy's Beach

10-18 knots E-NE.

FFF200, Neil Pryde 6.4m Mk6, Axis 799.

First outing with the new caravan. Didn't get out Saturday so made the most of it today.

Just runs from Jimmy's to the sandbar and the odd bear away downwind.

Stayed in the flatter water where possible and rode a few swells coming across the sandbar.

Very gusty in parts and a few wind changes near the shoreline.

41 runs all together (10 knots+ for 10 seconds as per Garmin watch) and the run in the flat water at Jimmy's when there was a big enough gust were most enjoyable.

Couple of locals out including one with a floppy hat.

Mr T popped his head up for a visit and promptly dived. Easier to see him from above the water.

All in all a good afternoon.

Not too bad atall Sue. It's all TOW and learning. I realised today that i've probably had too much downhaul on this sail the whole time. That's ok, ready to get it out of second gear next time.

Kev, wow, that spot looks nice! Beware Mr T, worse than noah and worse than mud. My brother reports bad turblence last time a big one dove under his foil.
