GPS Team Challenge - Lake Macquarie (NSW, Australia)

Marmong Point, NSW, AU NE 5-6 and on the other side of the lake NE 4-7 knots. Only Kev and I on the water… till the wind came on a bit stronger. I was wasted and shut down for the day. Levi 150 1001 Ezzy 8.1

Marmong Point, NSW, AU 7.8, 900 front, standard 255 stab with -1 shim AND brand new (to me) 95cm carbon mast. Mast makes more difference than I would’ve believed possible. I was waayyy over lifted even in todays pretty Light conditions, probably the strongest gust would have been 12ish. Heaps more responsive. Lean gently on my heals And the board rolls quickly windward. Same but opposite with a gentle push on my toes. I think this will be great once I get the shim / lift thing sorted. Feels fast. Other than that, nice day on the water and great day for a chat with the crew! Try again tomorrow.

NW-N 5-12 knots. FFF200, Neil Pryde 8.2m V8, Axis 1099.

Only Mick and me out for the first hour. Half a dozen good runs in patchy conditions

Wind filled in a bit when Mick went in and Bryce came out for the best of it.

Happy with the distances I was able to do to get through the lulls. (12 runs over 1000m).
