6 days ago Jimmy's beach, nsw. JP SLW, SS ghost 101 foil. This morning i just started bitching to Mrs that winter wait time for sailing is gonna be bad. Then lo and behold, there was a nor easter, in April. Wow. We sailed nor easter in July last year, so, 3 months only to go. And now can possibly foil in west winds so its all good. Wind was good, it got up over 15kts in the end, a bit much power. Before that was sweet. I was handling but getting dicey. A winger came out, i'd gone in, but decided to go back with intention to sneak up behind him for a fly-by. I catapulted just as i got next to him. Swell lines marching through the bay were solid. I lined up for a few but they outran me. Think I might need a little bit faster foil. And probably a foil board. Anyone got kit to sell? I shimmed rear wing for more lift thinking it would help stop the nose dropping and relieve back foot pressure. I think it worked a bit and didn’t seem to slow me down as I chased top speed. Fun chasing 20kts.
