Well that was punishing.Initially rigged 6.5 and took out the big FSW for a play in the waves, but badly overcooked with that combo, so changed down to my old school high wind board and had much more controlled time. A few suicidal downwind runs in betwen wave lines and some big airtime to be had. A real test of sailing fitness. 6.5 Ezzy, Naish Supercross 84L, 300 BP Race fin.

Though I might have snagged a 30 but not quite. At least I didn't leave the GPS on for the trip home like yesterday.

Green island FNQ .Squally day with 20-30 knots of SE-ESE  on super chopped up Reef flats .

Rigged the Evo 16 RSR 6.5  & started with the RRD 108 70 W & new Tribal WeedMAX 30 .( fin was great )

Tide was too high & wasted a lot of energy in the crazy chop /pelting Rain & gusty wind . Managed 34  knots with this combo then switched boards to the FMX invictus 78 l & tribal delta 20 as the tide began to rapidly retreat .

Completely spent by 1 pm just as the water state was starting to settle so came in before i started crashing ..

1:20  pm wind jacked up to 30 knots so there was a 40 to be had today with a bit of luck & better planning ...Undecided

Always good to get on the water . !!CoolSmile

Couldn't manage the 6.8 and small board in the bouncy conditions so after a couple of uncomfortable runs, changed to the 5.8 and fox 120 which was alot more fun. Good day out with Troy

Nice sessions guys! Cool  Shame I couldn't join you Dr Cam.  Hopefully just a few weeks to go before I can get back out on the water- the knee clean up (arthroscopy) seems to be healing quite well.
