Hired a JP X-Cited Ride 110 litre, 7.0 North Vandal. To quote Byron....I needed more wind. Just enoughto get going some of the time but too much dogging and falling off tacking and dog gybing the narrow vessel. Occasionally enough breeze at the right time to gybe OK. Not a very big run between the shallow areas where you have to turn back to avoid either the sandbank or the coral.

Looked good then bad then good and eventually bad. 1 decent run followed by a rain squall then glasses fogged and couldnt find the shore or Mick.
Exercise value only. Just Mick and I silly enough.

2 days ago Marmong Point, NSW, AU SE 3-8 knots and just enough breeze for lift off. However Geoff and I were caught in the doldrums when the heavens opened up, the sky darkened and the wind picked up to only 8 knots. Enough to foil again ...and soak it up. No thunder no light flash and save as houses in a rubber suit ,crash hat and safety specks. In 10 minutes it was all over with a 500 m slog back. Good fun.
