Holloways Beach, QLD, AU  First sail back (since January) after the compulsory meniscus knee operation in March.

Breeze was 12~18kn SSE predominately inshore with some pretty decent gusts.  It was ramping up to 20+ kn further offshore with gusts up to 25+ kn being my best guess.  So it was an easy decision to stick with shorter runs closer inshore.

Severely lacking sailing fitness!!!  Seriously felt like I needed some training wheels to begin with...

Had the new Garmin Forerunner Music 255 on today with Andrew's GPSTC approved datafields- SO GOOD for on the water feedback!  I previously used the Instinct Solar (customising an activity), but really impressed with Andrew's set up as it is so much easier to read on the watch screen & covers all categories clearly.  Just had no energy left to work out how to post from it, but I'm sure it is quite simple.  Mini Motion v GFR255 were VERY similar.

Hopefully pull up ok tomoz after the big session today Laughing

Used the Jag 125, Severne 7.8 M4, Choco 42

That was a courageous effort B2. Not ideal for a knee surgery comeback 😳, but none the less, anticipated. The rain cleared away nicely yesterday arvo, which made for a beautiful Mothers Day in FNQ.
