Fun day at Green with 6 other Mobbers, almost looked busy on the water! Just enough wind for the 6.2 and sunny skies with the perfect tide. (For smaller fins) Very well used 6.2 Overdrive R8, Isonic W63 and a couple of runs on the Isonic 80. | ||||||||||||||||||

Was a great team outing sailing with Capt'n Kel, Dr Cam, Binny, Billy, Ed & Rick. Think everyone really enjoyed it! Breeze was just perfect for my return, 16~20kn SSE predominately being my best guess. The scenery was magical!!! It is days like this which remind us why we live in Tropical Paradise! Sailed with 2 devices today- the Mini Motion & Garmin Forerunner 255 Music. Used the ol' XO 100lt, Severne 7.8 M4, Tribal SW31 then Tribal Delta 22 as the tide retreated all in Boardies! Eddy (24394km):  Green Island, QLD, AU. Yeah fun session with the boys over on the Island today..Wasn't sure what the wind was going to do so ended up taking big board over 120 Fox ..Wind freshened up nicely and i wished i had taken 105 fox over..Still had a great blast.. Didn't get to play on the drag strip as the water was a bit to shallow for a 40 cm fin and it would of ended badly..Had a great session chop hopping out the front and playing in some angry waves out in the big pool..Big Fox never put a foot wrong and was nicely powered up with burnt out 6.5m rig..Would of liked to have done a few more kms but i am still recovering from a knee injury and it was starting to get a bit sore after taking a beating out in a choppy sea so pulled up a bit early..Had a great day and was good to catch up with the rest of the crew..My ' wing man ' Rick came over with me and made friends with the Island again after having a bad crash there last year and breaking has shoulder..ALLgood fun cheers Ed.. | ||||||||||||||||||
