3 days ago Point Grey, WA, AU. Dan said Boombas was going off which convinced a pile of us to head down. Arrived, went out on the big gear and was cursing Dan for the next hr going nowhere...was looking like groundhog day with conditions similar to yesterday. Got planing once but was a 6kt chug fest. Was gonna call it when wind finally picked up and slowly building. Nice cruising in the sun with Waricle, Gloria, Nauli and Antman and late comer Boz. Decided to come in and change down and also get the drone out as Gloria complaining no videos lately (because no wind). Richo arrived and went out which killed the wind but was still just enough puff to get going on the smaller gear. Came off the plane so bit more droning before the rain came. Dan was on a mission for distance and was still going in solid 2kt breeze when we'd all called it. Arvo sesh with the crew, great to see Gloria and Waricle out haing fun. Dan on a mission today and a surprise turn up Richo da man. Ant his usual self, but unfortunatley no down draft gust today so a more subduded score. Flex the champ with his 8.6 rigged we knew the wind would come in, thanks Jim.

Finally after so much standing around cloud watching, the wind eventually filled in with some consistancy to be powerd up for a reasonable session :) Big turn out at Bombastcs with Crimson Flash,Orical Warical,Gloria,Naulie Steve,Flexy Jim,Bozinator and Richo. Powerd by the 7.0 SCR,112 M,98 Falcon,35 ws.

Awesome session today at Boombas with a good crew. Good to have some backup this time! Seems like I generated a bit of FOMO earlier in the morning so hope y'all thought it was worth the drive.
Highlight for me was coming across a pod of 3 dolphins on the other side of Austin bay after my first run over there. They shadowed me for a few minutes and were playing around my board and turning on their sides eyeballing me as they went past. Very special. Is doesn't get much better than this. Good wind, good crew, dolphins, hundreds of swans etc. Awesome spot is Boombas. Looking forward to more of this! Good to see Gloria, Waricle and the other usual suspects.

Boombas with a great bunch. I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the trip but I hate to miss out if there is some wind. I arrived last and it looked pretty good so I rigged the 6.3 and the 88 ltr but the wind died and I couldn’t get going. I came in and rigged 7.7 and 98ltr and even though I missed the best of it it was great to be on da water and cruising. Finally a sail and great company.
