8 hours ago Jimmy's beach, nsw. JP 135, Hellcat 8.2, flow 900 I could hardly sleep hearing wind last night, my keenness to ride the foil is strong. Just some light constant wind is all I've been wanting and early this morning was the last chance before forecast wind drought. One more shot at it. I went down and found the hammer i left in the sand there two days ago. It is my new downhaul tool after leaving old stick at Cootharaba. So it was good to get that back. I thought that might the the best of the good fortune for the day as there was no wind. But then a puff, decided it was enough to warrant rigging new to me Hellcat 8.2 and try it.
For the first half hour, I was pretty sure I'd not be getting it flying. Then woosh, she went after a super pump. Magic flights into low sun glare across a bay full of flat. Happy with that.
The sail seems good to pump and smooth flights once going. Maybe less low end grunt than Ezzy's is a good thing
Also, by golly i was just walking in the magic track to beach and ther's a guy named Jim there from Hervey bay who's here to sail Jimmy's He's gonna be lucky now though...
