Snapper point, aldinga reef 15-20 knots

Well it's been a while since I've been on the slalom gear and I really felt it,

I got ok speeds but I just wasnt in tune with the gear, super rusty and could have done alot better still alot of fun.

Lol alot of work to sail at this spot its a tough fitness gig

Starboard isonic 97, weedspeed 31, loft RB 7.0

Rankines. Sailed with %1er, missed sailing with Sellicks who arrived earlier and then left. My 2sec is a PB for this spot on an unusual gear setup. 107 Falcon, 4.8 Hucker, 29 Tribal speed weed. Need to be able to uphaul at this spot when wind drops to 0. In the end, one of the clips on my boom broke before doing "one last run". Lucky I went to change the sail's eyelet before going back out. Some vicious winds were coming through. I could've ended up stuck on the other side, and then a 2 hr walk back to car in my wettie at night. Good to sail with you again 1%er. Good chats. Very cold today. Hands went numb.

Yeah, gotta watch the tide, as spots close to sea will have wind that will drop when tide stacks. I did not pay attention to that yesterday morning. In a hurry to leave. That was frinkin cold standing around for an hr WFTW. 1%er arrived at the perfect time. Massive Bogan turn out yesterday. Impressive Cool

Seeing as I live 10 minutes away from Aldinga reef, I should really give it a go sometime..... Sealed
