2 days ago Jimmy's beach, nsw. JP 135, Ezzy Lion 6.5, flow 900 - 215 - 90. No issues with the weather for once. For a change no rain, sunny, decent enough wind, 8-14kts. Mostly powered. I'm sitting at home now feeling good about pushing a bit for once, although I'm icing the foot after it got stuck in front strap when again, I saw a gust and went for speed but it spat me off the back. One day I'll learn to hang on to it. Not keen on these nasty crashes. Summer flat water might help. It might be the chop that's sending me. A couple of awkward but flying gybes. Those are like lab puppies, guaranteed to make smile. I worked on entries later and felt some magic flying into them but not sure / confident yet to back it around and go. Any day now, tow, keep practicing. Actually even on this sunny day I'll complain about the weather, it's messed up. So much rain in winter and I hit something, a log I reckon. No damage but enough to spit me over the front. So then I gave up. Brown water fills the bay.
