3 days ago Point Grey, WA, AU Late to the party with all the usual suspects. Followed danger mouse (Pos) over to Austin bay to look for flatter water. As was entering Antman and Boz were existing which wasn't a good sign. There was section that was flatter but an ominous rain squall was fast approaching so high tailed it out of there...leaving the mouse to it. Good thing too as wind soon dropped off and was a chug fest getting back to the car park. Just as arrived back picked up again so a few short runs before wind decided to die again. Early start with Al and later joined by the rest of the Boombas crew, Waricle,Decrepit,Naulie and Gloria.Got a couple of good runs in early while the water was reasonably flat, but the tide rose quick and chopped up fast. Took a look in Austin bay with Boz. Slightly flatter but hard to trust the wind,5 mins after coming out wind completly died leaving Dan stranded and Flex just making it out. Powerd by the 7.0 EVO,53 Patrick,25 ws.

Nice little session with the crew today. Started out on the Tribal Rapid 53 then later switched to Windtech 50 + 6.8 P7 AC-2 + 23 cm Tribal Sym Speed. Great combo and very happy with the new Sym Speed fin and its great holding power in the chop. Almost had to do the walk of shame when I got stuck in the middle of Austin bay. Luckily it picked up again about 10mins after starting the long walk back to the carpark and I managed to get back in one long run. Phew!

Late arrival to a big group at Boombas, Ant the early worm to Boombas gets the Flat water, still lots of fun with the usual suspects. Nice cruise to Austin some flat water at the bottom end but littered with weed burgs so no go zone unless you want to walk a huge distance if you break your gear. We were a little concerned with danger mouse Pos who timed his run in a bit late and then the wind dropped, glad he got a gust out of Austin.
Took one run out to the centre when the wind swung to NW, some real nice water about 3.5 ks out of the launch spot but you'd want to be sure enough wind to get you back.
