GPS Team Challenge - Lake Macquarie (NSW, Australia)

Not worth the 2hr busy drive . There were a few 12kts patches as I rigged but it died by the time I was ready to hit the water. One 50m puff over 13kts to get the 2 sec.

At the end I just got back near the shore in time as it swung S. I really need a bigger board for those conditions. The 111ltres was a balancing act.

My 7.5m Turbo is dying.. Anyone have a M4 7.5m Turbo in good to excellent condition?

A bigger board wouldn't have helped Sue if the wind was as light at Budgie as it was at Marmong. Thunderstorms killed what little I had and that was very brief. Hopefully tomorrow is better. Today was nothing like the forecast.

Yes. I wouldn't have got going but it would have been more comfortable. I need to stand with my frontfoot in front of the mast but the nose submarines. It's very uncomfortable plus tippy going dead downwind in 3kts..

I've got a 125ltre but it's powerbox and I'm not going to buy a fin for the rare times I'd use it at Budgy.

You blitzed me. What a disappointment. You'd think with a front going past we'd have had some wind.
