Mungo Brush, NSW, AU

JP Hydrofoil 155 Flow 1500 North 4.6

Good 18kn at times but up down meaning on the foil off the foul.

Very choppy so kept it very low.

Just me and a winger up at mungo till I ran out of puff.

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU. Skywing94ltr, FlyII 5.4, hps980/400 then hps830/400. mast 75cm. That’d be a full house on the wing progression today. Mega stoked to learn to turn. I got some gybes both ways. Learning lots of fancy footwork, feeling like Muhammad Ali, float like a feather sting like a bee.
A little jump in speed felt like heaps.
Trying a new to me foil, hps830 and straight into my first gybe on it, nice.
Finished off by flying the wing on the grass, practicing flipping around the head etc.
Very happy to see parks have opened one of the access’s on the eastern side, The Wells.

Bombah Point, NSW, AU.

Very rough and hard going as my 104 litre slalom board sinks in this freshish water. i didn't weigh as much when i last sailed this board 12 years ago.

10-17kts SSE- S Valentine, NSW, AU

6.5m turbo - WT64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms tectonics weed demon few runs

then WT57 ( 90ltres) - 28cms WT weedy .

I'd usually have the 7.2m up in that..

1st powered up sail on LM in 8 months..I am so sailing unfit..Frown

Bit patchy in close when it swung more SSE so took the big board out at 1st. Good for the lulls but hardwork dodging peaky ramps on the other side.

Stuffed the 1st 2 outside gybes..I'd forgotten how much fun it is to have the mast point to the bottom and board flip upside down..Yell

I tried not to think of the sharks as I waited for it to come back up a bit so I could reposition it and waterstart. At least 2 were spotted by Steve.

Got all my gybes after that. Changing my feet super early which gives me a more stable platform for the flip.  Rig flips need to be more proactive but I'm not fit enough yet..Undecided

Went for it ( or felt like it ) but not as fast as it felt. No finesse today..too unfit..

Steve on his  WT cruise missile and assorted wingers. A lot of weed around ( unsual for Valentine) so it was good to be on the fin with a weedy..no issues.

It was good but I was so tired I was an accident waiting to happen and I still had to wash the gear and drive an hr home..It will take a while to get fit enough for the sustained high heartrates..

 More days like this please..Cool

Rathies, NSW, AU 5.7 Ezzy 1250 Flow. Nice to get out but not the best session. Should have gone 4.7. Wind a bit shifty and up and down in Rathies Bay. Oh well

I saw you going Glenn and thought damn, gettin smashed by finner here right now so had to keep going! Had I have thought of bringing windsurf gear I might have had a crack but no, totally forgot it 😳Light wind earlier on my run over there was the nicest. Good to finally make it up here while you lot are in town.

Cheers Dizzy. I like it Laughing It's not like windsurfing, but it's sailing, so it's just like windsurfing Laughing
