5kts  then patches of 14-20kts S Valentine, NSW, AU

5.7m gator - WT 64 ( 112ltres) - 35cms Tectonics weed demon

5.7m- WT57 ( 90ltres) - 28cms WT weedy

 Sailed 12 - 2.41pm with breaks

Cold . I was back in my 3mm winter wettie. Surprised

Rather underwhelming. I'm starting to wonder if I'm too old for the lake..I was sailing a lot better this time last year.

I rigged the 5.7m for the stronger stuff and swapped boards depending on how consistent it was. 200m of 5kts then patches of 14-20kts .

Got 2 good gybes but stuffed the rest. I flip the rig and try and get a stable position to pull it back on but I take too long . A few waves and I'm off.Undecided

Wasn't really powered up enough for good speed which was a pity as there were a few flatter areas.

Well at least I didn't have to be rescued.Undecided

The wingers weren't going very well in the patchy conditions. Of course it came in much better as I packed up.Yell

Boat traffic wasn't too bad although one 30m black James Bond type cruiser came through. It created  4 rows of 1.5m surf .. One winger was surfing it but I was on the shore. I waited till the surf had stopped crashing and then went out.

It turned around and came back past..Undecided but they must have realised the chaos they created because they went back faster and there was on 2 rows of 1m surf.

Pity there wasn't wind as the wake on the inside was a magic flat speed lane..zzz

Lots of wings. One other fin after I finished.
