Jimmy's beach, nsw. Patrik 120, Loft rb 5.6, 34bpws Wind like this used to scare me just thinking about how to sail it. Now I just smile and watch the dial. Seriously, it was a very calm cruising in some wild wind and I'm happy I picked that kit, just what I needed, kit that would just roll itself around corners and do all the work. Gybes were the easiest I've ever had, felt like slo-mo and learnt some more, let back arm out.
I'm very happy that my back muscles feel better now than they did before the session. I'd worked them a bit hard last week and was on recovery cruise to test it after resting.
Thanks coach Sue for helping me realise last week I needed to rest it.
Happy with the speed, spot PB, just a little send into the chop off the beach Laughing

Ne 10-20 knots as predicted with holes in it.

FMX176, NP 6.6m Flight Evo 111, Axis 799

Mini Motion didn't read for full session.

Back to Axis gear with a new beefed up fuselage. Used 500 tail and noticed how much higher it rode.

Done 12 km when had to come in to get bolts tightened/changed. Thanks Geoff.

Plenty of wind and a good test for the new board. Behaves surprising well.

A few hairy moments but the board didn't get out of hand as I know the wider boards would have.

Overpowered at times but able to manage most situations that arose.

Good test for a different combination.
