8 hours ago Grassy Pt, Corpus Christi. Fin session with Nina and Al - so much work compared to winging! Started with a broken UJ which I did not notice until I was 300 m from shore, and ended with a rip in the sail after messing up a start when hit by a gust and falling into the sail. Slow motion but big rip - the sail must be getting a bit old. Fun in between, but no really flat water anywhere. On the day we arrived, water levels and chop were low and the wind was strong, but it was to late to get out. Today we had 20 cm more water, and it looks like water levels will go up more the next few days - but at least we should also have decent wind and balmy temperatures.
