Nice session today with Antman and the Bozinator at Coods. A bit offshore and gusty with the WNW but some fun was had. Nice to see plenty of seabirds around enjoying the conditions. Started out at Boombas but Ant and I decided to head to Coods as it was looking a bit sketchy with the WNW. Not sure if it was the best call. Will see what Ant comes up with after he venturered into the un-named place.

Fun sail with Dan and Boz. Way to gusty on the outside but much better on the inside ;) powerd by the 5.6 P7,87 ISO,25ws.

Melville!

WNW got there a bit after 1 as it started to pick up. Tide pretty high so plenty of chop around but fortunately the sticks and logs from the big storm were all on the grass area and not in the water. Was surprisingly free of debris!

Rigged 7m 110 and 32MK3 (hoping for some speed runs). Water got rougher as the wind picked up, and was getting smashed on 7m at the end. Struggled to get runs over high 36s due to the chop getting a bit hectic with some solid short gusts. I didn't have enough weight to sit in the harness and keep it loaded up, so my arms were getting cooked. So I grabbed the weight jacket and BAM it was much easier despite the chop and wind increasing and already having dead arms... Got one sick run for 38 max just belting it through chop to the carpark. A few clenching moments... Stoked with speeds for the conditions. Came in during a massive rain squall... gybing in that was intense overpowered and getting my eyeballs rinsed. Didn't drop any gybes today despite being overpowered. Most of the 10 sec runs were really close to the 2sec. Love these WNWers... probably would have been OK on the smaller board and a 6.2m in hindsight...
